Khalid Al-Sulaiti

Khalid founded Luxe Properties Doha in 2019 after eleven years between Qatari Diar and Sotheby’s International Realty MENA. At Qatari Diar he ran the Phase 2 sales desk for The Pearl-Qatar through the 2010–2014 absorption cycle, where he learned that a brokerage’s value sits in the discipline of saying no. At Sotheby’s he opened and ran the Doha desk, building the resale book the firm still trades on. He represents long-cycle family clients and a small number of regional family offices. He believes the broker’s job is to keep the buyer out of the wrong purchase as much as it is to find them the right one. He reads the Qatari residential market through transaction data, not press releases, and publishes the firm’s quarterly Doha Residential Letter.
